Whose child are you?

Salvation by faith in Christ sounds too easy for many people. They would
rather think that they have done something to save themselves. Their religion
becomes one of self-effort that leads either to disappointment or pride, but finally
to eternal death. Christ's simple way is the only way, and it alone leads to eternal life.

Sun

"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is
with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it
is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Romans 10:9 - 10

What we have as Adam's children

Ruin

"Because of your stubbornness, and your unrepentant heart, you are
storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath,
when his righteous judgment will be revealed."

Romans 2:5

"But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth
and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger."

Romans 2:8

Sin

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 3:23

"... just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin,
and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--"

Romans 5:12

"But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the
one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the
grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!"

Romans 5:15

Death

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God
is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 6:23

"Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin:
The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but
the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification."

"Just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through
righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Separation from God

"Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men,
so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men."

Romans 5:18

"Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature
desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what
the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the
Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does no submit to
God's law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot
please God. You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but
by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does
not have the Spirit of Chirst, he does not belong to Christ."

Romans 8:5 - 9

Disobedience

"For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners,
so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous."

Romans 5:19

Judgement

"Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men,
so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men."

Romans 5:18

Law

"No one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law;
rather, through the law we become conscious of sin."

Romans 3:20

But where sin increased, grace increased all the more."

Righteousness

how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and
of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ."

Romans 5:19

Deliverance

"For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death
